Client: Private developer.
Location: Atherton Terrace, Churton Park, Wellington.
Scope of works: Earthworks – cut to fill; drainage – sewer and stormwater; services – water, Chorus and power; car parking – kerbing, pavement construction, sealing; and foundation preparation.
Stats: 300m3 cut to waste, 130m3 cut to fill, 100m private sewer and stormwater pipes laid.
Challenges: Tight site access, constraints of working within a residential area, rainfall, design changes.
Solutions: We worked with designers and the client to overcome design challenges, and delayed start times to reduce annoyance of neighbours.
